It’s my belief God has always existed and will exist after the destruction of the world. The scripture clearly supports the existence of God, who had no beginning or ending made the heavens and the earth, and everything we see and cannot see. (Genesis 1:1)
It’s my belief Jesus Christ is the Son of God. His equality is equal to God in every aspect. He lived a sinless human life when He took on human flesh, dying for the sins of mankind on an old rugged cross. He didn’t stay dead but got up with all power both in heaven and on the earth, and underneath the earth. Someday He will return to reign as the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. (Matthew 1:22-23; John 1:1-5)
It’s my belief the Holy Spirit is comprised of three persons, which constitute the Trinity. The Holy Spirit is resident in one who believe and confess the biblical account of Jesus Christ going to the cross for our sins. The Holy Spirit is equal to God the Father and Jesus Christ God’s son. The Holy Spirit helps us to be aware of the need for Jesus Christ. It’s my belief the Holy Spirit provides the Christian with power to live in a sinful world, to understand spiritual truth, and provides the necessary guidance to abide in the word of God. It’s the Holy Spirit that gives the Christian gifts to bless the church. (John 16:7-13; Acts 1:8)
It’s my belief the Bible is God’s word, which was written by men who were guided by the Holy Spirit. The Bible is thee truth for the Christian believer. It’s believed the Bible is without error. (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21)
It’s my belief humanity was/is created in the image of God. The Trinity consist of God the Father, Jesus Christ the Son and the Holy Spirit. We too are mind, body and soul. In our originality we were without sin prior to the fall in the Garden of Eden when the first man ate from the Tree of Good and Evil. Thus, all of us are marred by sin. Sin separates us from God, so Jesus had to come in bodily form to reconcile us back to God. (Genesis 1:27; Isaiah 53:6; Isaiah 59:1-2)
It’s my belief God’s gift of Salvation is free in one’s confession of Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Believing that He died on a cross for our sins and on the third day, which was Sunday got up with all power. When we trust Jesus Christ, God offers forgiveness of sin, one is saved of their sins. (Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9; Galatians 3:26)
It’s my belief baptism is our outward belief in the world that we have accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. We're conveying publicly from that day forth, we will live for Him. (Acts 2:38; 1 Peter 3:19-22)
It’s my belief we were created to live forever. It’s my belief those who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior will forever live with Him in heaven after this earthly life is over. Those who reject Jesus Christ will spend eternity in Hell. To be eternally with Jesus Christ is eternal life. It’s my belief Heaven and Hell are literal places of eternal existence. (John 3:16; Revelation 20:15; 1 Corinthians 2:7-9)
